Stu and I headed across the lake to pack down the trail to War Eagle Lake.
We have some maintenance to do at the cabin and having the trail packed makes it easier to hall in supplies.
Covid regulations hampered us from host guest at War Eagle the past few years and due to the fire ban last summer, Stu and I were not able to go at all. Krista and Ken got permission from Parks in July for an overnight to check everything at the cabin. We are looking forward to having some time in February and March to get to War Eagle Lake; and do a few projects.
We are not accepting reservation yet for this summer. Lets hope for lots and lots of moisture this spring!
What a great day!
Another beautiful sunny day in the park.
We had a bit of a problem with over occupancy in Chalet #10.
Although often spotted at the Chalets, a sighting of 5 Flying Squirrels is a rarity. Sharon and David have stayed in #10 often and have named their visitors: Pro (for profile because it's the big fat one that always sits sideways. we wonder if she is pregnant ) and the other one Con, because it always has its back turned; and then Undecided, Uncommitted, Uncertain (or uninterested, depending)...
Thank you Sharon for sharing this shot.
Have a GREAT weekend everyone!!!
What a beautiful night. The moon was so bright....no need for flashlight on the walk home from the office.
