Our thoughts and our THANKS go out to our Service Women and Men stationed in Canada and around the world.
As the trumpet blew at 11am this morning we remember those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our country; for our freedom.
And we remember with pride, those in our family whom served.
Amazing weather we are enjoying.
The sunsets are always so beautiful in the late fall. Guests are still enjoying hiking and mountain biking. Some fishing coming in off the docks and on the river. What a fall ... and hopefully lots more great days to come.
Today was the perfect Manitoba Fall day.
Stu, I and our dog Popper spent part of the afternoon on the new Trans Canada Trail to Cabin Lake.
The Trail was carpeted in Gold.
The trail comes to a beautiful spot on the Rennie River. We enjoyed our lunch, sitting in the sun watching the water drift by. WHAT A DAY!
Fall has arrived with all it beauty. The Park is a kaleidoscope of colour.
Guests have been making use of the complimentary equipment to enjoy one more canoe or kayak around the lake. One more evening peddle boat ride. One more bike ride down the new Trans Canada trail. One more! One more! One more! It’s just too nice a time of year to miss even one moment.
Fishing has been good both on the lake and river. Most of the Guests have been casting off the docks or borrow the peddle boats, row boat or canoes and work right out in front of the resort.
We have our Winter and Holiday Packages up on the Rate page.
Also please see a 55+ Package on our Web Specials Page.
This guy was circling around us as we were out on the lake . Then he landed in a tree and pretended that he was not watching us. What amazing creatures.
Take care all …..Hope you can join us soon.
