Lots of activity on the river this morning; all of it around a very small hole in the ice that was still open after the temperature drop last night.Some swans, geese and ducks were swimming, one after the other, around the circumference of the open patch;
while others relaxed in the sun on the ice.
The song birds, although a little puffed up against the cold, were singing their little hearts out..
It's important to find what is bright and beautiful in each day and celebrate that!
Stay safe. Stay Possitive.
We would like to take this opportunity to add our thanks to all of the Front Line Worker. You are amazing, giving people.
During this closure, we are pleased to help Conservation house some of their returning Forest Fire Fighters who need to self-isolate. Glad to have the Fire Fighters back. They are so very important to the Park.
We will be on the phones and checking email daily, regarding future stays beyond April 23rd.
Stay safe, everyone.
We received this lovely email today from Desiree and I thought I would share:
I just wanted to say how much my husband and have enjoyed our time at your resort, both in the fall and most recently in February. I just wanted to take a moment to share with you some of the beauty I have captured at your magical little place.
What an incredible shot this is!
The colours in these shots are amazing.
Thank you Desiree for sharing these moments.
