With a light skiff of snow on the ground and the crispness in the air, there is no mistaking we are heading into a new season.
We are seeing a lot of action in the sky as the flocks head south.
Wishing you all a great first weekend in November.
And what a great day it has been.
A beautiful sunrise promised a good day ahead... and it did not disappoint.
This afternoon, for an excuse to get out and enjoy the mild temperatures, Stu and I headed down the Great Trail to the bridge to do a bit of “Trail Maintenance”.
It's so nice to see all of the young evergreens bordering the trail.
The first fall we lived at Inverness Falls, I noticed in some areas, the evergreens were turning colour. I had never seen that before.
I was so afraid that the forest was going to lose all of the evergreens until Stu introduced me to the Tamarack Trees. The needles turn a golden colour in the fall and then fall off; growing again next spring.
Tucked in among the evergreens the Tamarack add such beauty to the Fall Forest .
