The first fall we lived at Inverness Falls, I noticed in some areas, the evergreens were turning colour. I had never seen that before.
I was so afraid that the forest was going to lose all of the evergreens until Stu introduced me to the Tamarack Trees. The needles turn a golden colour in the fall and then fall off; growing again next spring.
Tucked in among the evergreens the Tamarack add such beauty to the Fall Forest .
