A Romantic Pet-Friendly Cabin Getaway

Lakeview Cabin 6

Pet Friendly
Accommodates: 1-2 people with one queen-size bed

For couples who don’t want to leave their four-legged family member behind, Lakeview Cabin 6 offers the perfect blend of romance and adventure. This cozy, rustic retreat is designed for 1-2 guests and 1 pet, providing a front-row seat to the beauty of the Whiteshell.

With a spacious 550-square-foot open layout and decks that face Brereton Lake and the flowing stream, Cabin 6 is a favourite for honeymoons, anniversaries, or solo travellers looking for a quiet escape with their dog.

Designed for Romance & Relaxation

Cabin 6 is designed for relaxation. Inside the living area, you’ll find a two-person hot tub positioned to enjoy the peaceful forest views through the window. It’s an ideal setting for dimming the lights and reconnecting after a day of exploring.

The cabin features a queen-size bed and a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need (from a full oven and microwave to wine glasses and a corkscrew), making it easy to enjoy a private, candlelit dinner. The large windows throughout the cabin make it easy to view the lake, stream, and abundance of wildlife from the comfort of indoors.

Bringing Your Dog to Inverness Falls

We know that for many of our guests, a getaway isn’t complete without their dog. Cabin 6 is uniquely positioned to make travelling with a pet effortless. Step out of your cabin, and you are just seconds away from the water and the trails, meaning your morning walk starts the moment you open the door.

Canine Cove

We have established Canine Cove right across from Cabins 6 and 7 so that dogs can enjoy the water and we owners can relax in the sun. While dogs are not permitted at the beach, this dedicated area ensures your pet has their own private splash zone.

Pet-friendly Trails

Hiking trails skirt the resort property, providing a safe, scenic run for the dogs right at your doorstep.

The Inverness Experience

On the Water

You are just a few steps from the shores of Brereton Lake and a sandy beach, where you can swim and relax in the sun. If you’re looking to do some fishing, head to the dock or rent our boat to fish the lake. You can also enjoy shore fishing along the Rennie River below the falls; and down river by canoe and kayak. To help you explore, we provide free use of canoes, kayaks, pedal boats, and row boats for navigating the Rennie River and Brereton Lake.

On the Trails

The Trans Canada Trail passes right by our Resort, perfect for hikes or bike rides. We have mountain bikes available for guests to borrow, allowing you to explore these scenic paths and the Inverness Falls Trails at your own pace.

The Bonfire Area

The Resort Bonfire pits are on both sides of the stream, offering a quiet, peaceful space to enjoy a fire. This dedicated space is designed for the timeless tradition of the evening campfire—a perfect place to gather under the Whiteshell stars and share stories after a day of adventure.

Explore the Whiteshell

Beyond the Resort, Whiteshell Provincial Park is a vast natural playground waiting to be discovered. We encourage you to venture out to nearby gems like Rainbow Falls, Caddy Lake Tunnels, or the Alfred Hole Goose Sanctuary.
