Resort Facilities & Common Areas
We have designed our common areas to ensure that guests with mobility challenges can fully participate in the Resort experience.
The Resort Office: Accessible for wheelchairs.
Lakefront & Docks: We offer a shaded spot on the deck, very close to the water, with a lovely view of the lake that is accessible for wheelchairs. The remainder of the deck over the water and the docks is accessible via two steps down.
Beach & Picnic Area: The terrain here is fairly smooth, offering comfortable access for those using walkers, canes, and wheelchairs.
Wheelchair Navigation: Guests using wheelchairs are able to maneuver both the beach area and the road leading from the Chalets down to the beach.

Best for Wheelchair Users
Chalet 10: This is our primary accessible unit. It features a ramp up to a deck that runs along two sides of the Chalet. The interior has a nice open feel with doors designed to accommodate most wheelchairs. The interior is a single-level.
All Other Inverness Resort Cabins
Luxury Cottage 1: 5 steps to the deck and 2 steps to the bedroom loft. Located approximately 20 yards from the parking lot.
Luxury Cottage 2: 6 steps to the deck and 2 steps to the bedroom loft. Located approximately 20 yards from the parking lot.
Luxury Cottage 3: 2 steps to the deck and 2 steps to the bedroom loft. Located approximately 10 yards from the parking lot.
Lakeview Suite 4: 4 steps to the deck plus 1 step into the suite. No steps inside. Located approximately 10 yards from the parking lot.
Lakeview Suite 5: 4 steps to the deck and 1 step into the suite. The interior is a single-level open floor plan. Located approximately 15 yards from the parking lot on an uneven path.
Lakeview Cabin 6: Features a slight decline from the road to the front deck and one 4-inch step up from the kitchen to the living room/bedroom. Located approximately 15 yards from the parking lot.
Lakeview Cabin 7: 2 steps down to the door. Inside, there is one 4-inch step from the kitchen to the living room. Located approximately 15 yards from the parking lot.
Chalet 9: 4 steps to the deck and no steps inside. Located approximately 7 yards from the parking lot.
Private Chalet 11: 3 steps to the deck and no steps inside. Located approximately 20 yards from the parking lot.
