What a beautiful day we are having today; and a great weekend ahead.
We have 12 inches of ice on the lake and the Parks department have already put out the marker trees. We need snow to get the trails up and running but got a nice start last night. The Forest looks so Magical covered in sparkling white.
This week the Parks Department was working on a walking path for the winter that will take off from the resort and follow part of the Trans-Canada Trail. Hikers, this winter, will have the choice of the River Trail that joins onto the Amisk and this new Trans-Canada loop.
