We went back into Turtle Bay early evening, in hopes of finding some turtles sunning on the rocks along the shore. Some days we have spotted turtles on every sunny rock. As it was later in the day, we were pleased to even spot one and then to see it enjoying the rock with a Mallard . We have never seen that before. ( I apologize for quality of pic- I was using my ancient phone)
As we came closer the duck splashed into the lake and then seconds later she lead her family out of there hiding spot behind the rock.. (We pulled away as soon as we realized we had disturbed them).
