Striking sky over the river this morning and warm bright sunshine all afternoon.  A perfect day!

What a Weekend .. sunshine and warm temperatures.   Guests have been out enjoying hiking the forest trails, snowshoeing on the lake in the moon light, sking the tracked trails and snowmobiling out on the lake. A perfect start to the New Year.  

Wishing all a happy and safe Holiday Season 

For a day we had the lake total frozen and total smooth but darn- not thick enough to skate on…….. We got a skiff of snow so lake is now covered white.   This is the 4th freeze-up this fall.  We will see if this one stick.
