If we read our plant guide correctly, this is a wild onion…. just one petal created quite a strong onion taste. (Stu and I are both still here this morning so I am confident it was a Wild Onion)
But the really wonderful discovery was that, in that patch of at least 40 plants, almost every Wild Onion had a bee in attendance.
