It was a quiet morning on the river
. As I stepped out on the deck all I could hear was the swoosh the ravens wings as it flew overhead. Moments later a fox sauntered by on the other side of the river. Another perfect morning in paradise.

Nov 20th, 2021… “a paper thin layer of ice covers Brereton Lake!!” Beautiful day today; one of those “special gifts”. Office Book Sale: We sent a donation of $105, which had been collected over the summer season, to the Children’s Hospital. Thanks to all those who participated!!

Winter has reached Inverness Falls…
The river is frozen and the Swans flew over with a last good-bye. And yet as the Swans leave for the winter, other neighbours step up to brighten our day. This Blue Jay was very angry at the squirrel that kept darting at the feeder. Wishing you all a great start to the WINTER SEASON!!
