It’s been a bright beautiful sunny weekend in the Whiteshell.
They just don’t know what to do with themselves. One day lots of open water on the river to frolic in. The next morning just tiny open patches. These geese and swans were joined by a pair of mallards yesterday afternoon. Every day another sign of Spring!
Beautiful Sunrise with promise of a Great Week to come!
The river is starting to open up in spots with this warm weather! The Lake still has lots of ice and lots of ice fisherpersons.
Sunrise this morning
As the sun came up over the river it brought with it a cloud of pink.. only stayed a few minutes and was gone. But what a start to the day! (The colours make it look almost like a painting) Another beautifull week in the park.
We found a lovely gift from guests in Cottage #3 this week.

It’s important during these brisk days to keep the bird feeders full. This morning we had a number of visitors including this Pine Gosse beak, puffed up against the chill and this very indigent Blue Jay.. having to wait it’s turn.
