The Swans were taking advantage of the change in rules and had company over yesterday… observing social distancing…. This second shot was shared by David, a guest with us this week. He was able to get very close to them while hiking the River Trail.

It’s been a bright beautiful sunny weekend in the Whiteshell.
They just don’t know what to do with themselves. One day lots of open water on the river to frolic in. The next morning just tiny open patches. These geese and swans were joined by a pair of mallards yesterday afternoon. Every day another sign of Spring!
